That's, uh, that's not chain drive.
HFV has no HFV. But somehow has 2 motorcycles

oh god that would be weird to drive at speed. I mean I guess it's possible but it would not feel natural.

my bad, I only found the one picture of it and it was in a thread talking about chain drive, I couldn't resist the insanity ;) it's still insane. From the angle in the first picture the springs look a bit like sprockets and chains... in my defense ;P

I get that - I had to do a double-take myself, because I was sure this had an old quick-change rear-end (or front-end?). Yep that's the friction shock and spring end.

I think you meant radius rods, not springs.

look again: sure it has radius rods on the rear, but the front appears to be suspended entirely by the springs. The insanity is strong with this one.

Found some more pictures . Here's the best one showing front suspension:
Can't really tell what the hell is gong on with the front suspension. I can't make any sense of it. Almost like a 4 link, but I see no springs. Perhaps it is a transverse leaf spring that you just can't see from any of the angles?

Yeah, from the front shot the upper link looks like it's a leaf, and lower link is thin, (also a leaf?) but that 3/4 view just makes it more confusing.... I mean, seriously.... WTF?
